One Body, Three Aerodynamic Personalities

A fixed aerodynamic package is always a compromise between two opposing goals: minimizing drag for efficiency and top speed, and maximizing downforce for cornering grip. VANTA R1 avoids that compromise by changing shape.

Below roughly 80km/h, aerodynamic load is low enough that active elements stay retracted, prioritizing a clean underbody airflow and reduced cooling drag.

Between cruise and moderate-speed cornering, front flaps deploy to a mid position, and the rear wing rises slightly to stabilize the car under braking, without materially increasing drag.

At track-relevant speeds, the full aero package deploys: front flaps at maximum angle, rear wing at full extension. The visualization in our Technology section illustrates this transition — it is a conceptual demonstration, not raw telemetry.
